The music of Quebec Redneck Bluegrass Project (QRBP) is a call to celebrate and above all to come together. The quartet from Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean pays tribute to its roots with its blend of folk, trad, bluegrass and punk. Festive anthems to be chanted in chorus, JP “Le Pad” Tremblay’s colorful lyrics describe with humor and transparency an atypical life well filled. Back on the road this summer, the band takes mandolin, violin, guitar and double bass across the province for shows with a supercharged atmosphere.
Each evening, several shows are offered on the Fleuve Loto-Québec stage, with the artists/groups following one another. The first performance will start at 8:35 p.m., QRBP’s show will begin around 9:30 p.m.
