We Told You So is a punk rock quartet from Trois-Rivières, Quebec, made up of Jim Giguère on vocals and guitar, Mathieu Massicotte on guitar and backing vocals, Ambrosio O’Higgins on bass, and Dany Clément on drums. Influenced by 1990s skate punk such as Social Distortion, Bad Religion, Lagwagon, and No Use For A Name, the band stands out with its raspy yet melodic vocals and its contagious live energy.
With nearly a hundred shows under their belt and notable appearances at festivals such as Pouzza Fest, Rockaganza, and Festivoix, We Told You So is always ready to hit the stage. Following the album Fairy Tales for Grown Ups in 2018, the band released a series of powerful singles: Civil Disobedience, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and Dead Inside in 2024, Pas Besoin D’Toé in October 2025, and Anchor in the Storm on January 14, 2026. These new songs confirm a more mature approach, exploring themes such as freedom, resilience, and mental health while staying true to the band’s punk and DIY roots.
