Shaggy, whose real name is Orville Richard Burrell, is a Jamaican-American singer. Known for his global hits like Boombastic, It Wasn’t Me, and Angel, he has won two Grammy Awards for Best Reggae Album. After serving in the U.S. Marines, he launched a music career blending reggae, dancehall, and pop. Beyond his musical success, Shaggy is also recognized for his philanthropic efforts, particularly through fundraising for the Bustamante Children’s Hospital in Jamaica.
