In 1992, a bombshell titled Les insomniaques s’amusent was unveiled to the public. With its unbridled poetry and finely crafted melodies, Daniel Bélanger’s debut album quickly captivated a wide audience and thrilled critics alike. Daniel Bélanger then conceived Quatre saisons dans le désordre, released in 1996, which confirmed all the praise he had received. With the album Rêver mieux, launched in October 2001, the artist playfully and imaginatively embraced electronic sounds. Once again, the public responded enthusiastically (the album was certified platinum), and the awards followed in impressive numbers.
In November 2008, he released Joli chaos, a compilation featuring several previously unreleased tracks. In 2013, Bélanger offered his audience Chic de ville, a delightful foray into rockabilly territory, an irresistible journey through the heartland of America. Three years later, Daniel Bélanger continued his trajectory with Paloma, a traveling album and one of the most anticipated releases of the musical year.
Don’t Miss Daniel Bélanger on Sunday, July 5th at the Loto-Québec River stage starting at 8:30 PM.
