Formed in Montreal from the DNA of four exceptional musicians, Jonas & the Jaguar Moon is the explosive new project led by Jonas Tomalty (Jonas & the Massive Attraction) on vocals and guitar, alongside PY Letellier (The Damn Truth) on bass, Julio Pampena (Scars on Broadway) on drums, and Steve Nadeau (Vénus 3) on guitar. Together, they craft a striking blend of indie rock, modern blues, and soulful melodic vibes, all propelled by electric energy and an irresistible stage presence.
On stage, the band is a true adrenaline storm: festival-ready, vibrant, powerful, and built to move the crowd. Their chemistry is immediate. Their connection with the audience, undeniable. Every show becomes a controlled explosion where heart, intensity, and musical instinct collide.
Before joining forces, each member had already built a reputation on international stages, sharing bills with Van Halen, System of a Down, Deep Purple, Kid Rock, and many more. Their experience is vast, as are their collaborations. The band members have worked with legendary producers such as Bob Rock (Metallica, AC/DC) and Dave Schiffman (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Audioslave, Adele), shaping a sound that is raw, cinematic, urgent, and timeless.
This alchemy was evident from the very first notes. The debut album from The Jaguar Moon, released in January 2025, didn’t just make waves—it exploded. Critics across Canada and Europe hailed it as fiery, authentic, and crafted for big stages. The album reached the Top 20 on Mediabase, remaining there for several weeks and establishing the band as one of the most promising rock acts of the year.
