Velours Velours (Raphaël Pépin-Tanguay) has been making his mark since 2020. After performing on stage alongside Étienne Coppée, he released Fauve, a debut EP co-produced with Philippe Brach in 2022.
His bold, youthful pop serves as the perfect soundtrack for both Montreal wanderings and road trips through Gaspésie. Winner of the SOCAN Foundation Prize in 2022, named “artist to watch” by Radio-Canada in 2023, and nominated for Breakthrough Artist of the Year at ADISQ in 2025, Velours Velours is making waves wherever his music goes.
Following a stunning debut album, Quand je pleure, je suis content (2025), and a 24-hour non-stop concert that same year, new solo performances await this tireless artist in 2026.
