After her appearance on La Voix in 2013, Andréanne Martin released her first EP Mon beau bandit in 2016. She received a CALQ grant to hone her writing skills in France alongside Francis Cabrel. In 2017, she collaborated with Pierre Huet and released the album Fais-moi la musique. In 2018, she released the single L100 k-lisse with Le Projet Stérone. Her album Guerrière, funded by Musicaction, marks a turning point with more mature lyrics. In 2022, she represented Quebec in Dakar and participated in a creation residency in Cameroon. In 2024, she released afrobeat and Zouk singles, announcing her album set for 2026, groovier and more refined, in collaboration with Julien Alvarez Thomet.
