Calamine is a queer and feminist rapper, beatmaker, and DJ based in Montréal. Her politically engaged lyrics tackle themes such as social justice, feminism, queer identity, and broader political and social issues like sustainable mobility, housing, and degrowth. On stage, she is joined by her DJ and co-producer Kèthe Magané, as well as saxophonist Valérie Lachance-Guillemette.

In 2021, she won the Félix-Leclerc Prize, was named a Radio-Canada Revelation, and placed second in the Les Francouvertes competition. Her three albums won the Hip Hop Album award at the GAMIQ in 2021, 2023, and 2024. She was also nominated at the 2023 ADISQ Awards in the categories Rap Album and Breakthrough Artist.

She has performed at festivals across Québec, including Le Festif! in Baie-St-Paul, FME in Rouyn-Noranda, La Noce in Chicoutimi, Festival d’Été de Québec, and Les Francos de Montréal, and has also played shows in France.
