In 2018, with his first three original songs, Jean-Félix Trépanier took the prestigious Noble Street Studios by storm to record his first demo. In 2022, thanks to filmmaker Blak (Roxanne Bruneau), he met director and producer Mathieu Provençal at Studio Wave. Captivated by his talent, Mathieu immediately agreed to produce the young singer-songwriter’s project. Influenced by genres like reggae, flamenco, and soul, and drawing from his Québécois musical roots, Jean-Félix created his own style: flamenpop. The recording of his debut album began in 2023 at Studio Wave, and the magic happened. The release of this highly anticipated album is set for fall 2024. With his contagious smile and a sunny disposition, Jean-Félix will unveil his poetry, filled with a depth all his own.
Don’t miss Jean-Félix Trépanier on Saturday, July 5, at the Ephemeral Stages Meubles RD starting at 7:30 PM!
