Singer-songwriter Pako, from the Atikamekw community of Manawan, will be at FestiVoix on July 4 at the Vieille Prison Le Trou du Diable stage. With folk-rock melodies, he gives voice to poignant lyrics written in his native Atikamekw language. He tackles powerful themes such as the importance of language, the values and history of his community, identity, the environment, human relationships and the hope of a better life.
