Raphaël Bérubé was born on October 15, 1977, in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. Introduced to music at an early age by his musician father, he developed a strong passion for it. He launched his career in 2000 with the release of a five-track album. In 2007, Sir Pathétik and Billy Nova founded the group Mauvaize Frékentation, which released a self-titled album. His record Avant k’tu m’oublies won the Félix Award for Hip-Hop Album of the Year at the ADISQ Gala in 2009. In 2013, he announced his ninth album, Prisonnier des mots. The following year, he released Le Québécois under the stage name Sir Path for the first time. The album featured more pop sounds with some folk influences. By 2015, he had released 13 albums and sold over 100,000 copies. In 2024, he made a comeback by working on a new album.
