Yes* (formerly Yes McCan) is a multidisciplinary artist – actor, rapper, musician, director, and artistic director – who has played a key role in the evolution of Quebec rap. A founding member of Dead Obies, he helped bring Quebec rap from the underground to the mainstream, with two iconic albums (Montréal $ud, Gesamkunstwerk – 20,000 copies sold) and over 150 shows across the Francophonie.
As a solo artist, he solidified his influence with the EP P.S Merci pour le love and the album OUI tout, tout, tout, toutttte, which has accumulated over 20 million streams. On screen, he captivated audiences with his role in Fugueuse, a TV phenomenon.
