This document defines the terms and conditions that apply to all purchases made at the FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières.
We invite you to carefully read the Terms and Conditions of Use of our website as well as our Privacy Policy. These two documents also govern your use of the Services when you use the Ticketing System via the Services.
By purchasing a festival ticket, you acknowledge that you have read the information below and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The different types of FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières passports (General Admission, VIP Belitec and Club FestiVoix Desjardins) give you access to all shows presented during the festival, while the different types of daily tickets (General Admission, VIP Belitec, Club FestiVoix Desjardins, Avant-scène, Loge Groupe Somavrac) give you access to all shows presented on a single day, the day selected at the time of purchase.
All FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières admission tickets are available in limited quantities. Due to limited site capacity, general admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. The purchase of a general admission ticket does not automatically guarantee access to all shows. We advise you to arrive early to guarantee a place on the site.
The purchaser’s first and last name are indicated on each admission ticket for information purposes only. Each admission ticket includes a unique QR code allowing only one access per show; it is this QR code that will be scanned during the event. In the event of loss, theft, sharing or duplication of a valid ticket, only the first person to present the ticket will be allowed onto the site. You are solely responsible for the use of your ticket.
Shows will take place rain or shine, except in the case of severe weather or any other force majeure that may affect the safety of festival-goers and/or artists. FestiVoix reserves the right to modify the program at any time and without notice for various reasons. No exchange or refund will be granted in the event of an artist change or if a performance is cancelled, postponed or delayed. In the event of total cancellation of the event (including all days of the festival) for which no other date has been chosen, purchasers will be informed of the procedure to follow by e-mail.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE
Tickets must be paid for in full at the time of issue. To avoid fraud, always buy your FestiVoix tickets from official sources. Admission can be purchased via our official website (www.festivoix.com), at the Centre Les Rivières or at duly identified outdoor ticket booths during the event.
Ticket prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to change. Applicable sales taxes and service charges are included in ticket prices. Website purchases must be made by Visa or Mastercard credit card, while purchases at Centre Les Rivières or outdoor ticket booths must be made in cash only. Please check that your order is exactly what you want before confirming it. No admission is exchangeable or refundable under any circumstances.
For payments via the website, FestiVoix uses the Stripe payment solution, which implements technical and organizational measures to protect your information against accidental loss and against unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. For further information, please consult Stripe’s Terms of Service for Consumers.
For ecological reasons, FestiVoix passports and tickets are only available in electronic format. If you wish, you can print your electronic passport or ticket on paper.
ORDER CONFIRMATION
Once your order has been confirmed and payment made, you will receive a confirmation page and/or an e-mail with a confirmation number (called “Order Confirmation”). It is essential that you retain this number. The ticket will be in electronic format. You will have the option of downloading it from the body of the message (for presentation on mobile devices) or from the attachment in PDF format (printable on 8½″ x 11″ paper).
If, for any reason, you do not receive a confirmation number or encounter an error message or service interruption, it is your responsibility to contact the box office to check the status of your order. You are entirely responsible for any problems that may arise during the ticket purchasing process. Consequently, the FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières cannot be held responsible for any loss (financial or otherwise) resulting from difficulties encountered when purchasing tickets via its site, including, but not limited to, transactions not completed or not confirmed, whether by the FestiVoix site, its entities or third parties.
Orders will be processed only after verification of address and billing information. Occasionally, incorrect billing or credit card account information may be provided when purchasing tickets. It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete information. Such errors may delay order processing and ticket delivery. In this case, the ticketing team will attempt to contact you using the information provided at the time of purchase. If the ticketing team is unable to contact you after a first attempt, we reserve the right to cancel the order and put the ticket(s) back on sale.
CUSTOMER ACCOUNT
When purchasing a ticket, you must create a customer account using your e-mail address to access the Customer Area. This account allows you to consult your purchase history and retrieve your electronic tickets at any time. It is your responsibility to keep your account information up to date and to ensure the confidentiality of your login details. Purchased admission tickets are available in the “My Tickets” section of the Customer Area and can be downloaded or printed at any time.
If you lose or forget this information, a secure recovery process is in place to reset your account access. If you suspect fraudulent use of your account, please inform us immediately so that we can take the necessary steps to secure your account.
FestiVoix is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. Your data will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
No admission fee is exchangeable or refundable under any circumstances. It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify that their order is exactly what they want before confirming their transaction.
No exchange or refund will be granted in the event of a change of artist or if a performance is cancelled, postponed or delayed. In the event of total cancellation of the event (including all days of the festival) for which no other date has been chosen, purchasers will be informed of the procedure to follow by e-mail.
CHILDREN’S ADMISSION
Children aged 10 and under are admitted free of charge when accompanied by a responsible adult holding a general admission ticket to the FestiVoix sites. However, festival-goers of all ages must hold a specific ticket to gain access to the privileged zones, i.e. the Belitec VIP zone, the Avant-scène zone, the Club FestiVoix Desjardins and the Groupe Somavrac Lodges. Identification may be required at site entrances to validate the child’s age.
Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, depending on the styles of shows presented during the evening and in the event of anticipated large crowds, FestiVoix reserves the right to impose an admission fee, on certain days, for all participants, regardless of age, and to prohibit strollers.
RESALE & VALIDITY OF TICKETS
Any falsification or resale of tickets not authorized by the FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières (or attempt to resell, falsify, counterfeit or copy tickets) is strictly forbidden and constitutes grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. Each participant must present the original ticket in its original form, undamaged and unaltered, at the appropriate venue at the appropriate time. FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières reserves the right to cancel any fraudulent ticket sale, without refund or other compensation.
FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières cannot guarantee the validity of tickets purchased outside its official website, its authorized partner Le Centre les Rivières or at its duly identified outdoor ticket booths during the event. FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières cannot guarantee the validity of tickets purchased from unauthorized resellers.
REGISTRATION, TRANSMISSION & USE OF TICKETS
Purchased tickets may, under certain conditions, be transferred to a third party via the Customer Area. However, this transfer is subject to restrictions and limitations to ensure a secure and fair experience for all festival-goers. Only tickets purchased via official sales sources can be transferred via the Customer Centre. Once the transfer has been confirmed, the ticket will be deactivated for the original user and activated for the new holder. FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières reserves the right to cancel or refuse a transfer in the event of suspected fraud, violation of the present policy or unauthorized resale.
Each ticket can only be scanned once at the entrance to the sites. To allow reuse of a ticket, it must be unscanned on leaving the sites.
Tickets, as well as all rights associated therewith or deriving therefrom, may not be assigned, sold or transferred, as part of a commercial or charitable campaign, with or without consideration, without the prior written consent of FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières. Tickets may not be used for advertising, promotional purposes, contests or draws without the prior written consent of FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières.
SAFETY RULES & CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
By purchasing an admission ticket for the festival or by visiting the event sites, you acknowledge that you have read the rules and safety measures established by the FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières and agree to abide by them. Depending on how busy the sites are, the rules and regulations in effect may be modified without notice, and you are responsible for complying with them. The holder of an admission ticket acknowledges and accepts the risks involved in participating in the activities organized during the event. He/she assumes full responsibility for the risks and dangers that may arise from the activities and waives all claims for physical and/or material loss or damage resulting from any cause whatsoever, suffered before, during or after the event.
FestiVoix reserves the right to refuse access to the event or to expel any person whose behavior is deemed inappropriate, without refund of the admission fee. Such persons may be held liable for any resulting loss or damage.
CAPTURING AND BROADCASTING YOUR IMAGE
By purchasing a FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières admission ticket or by your presence on the various public event sites, you grant the FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières the right to use your image, likeness, actions and statements in any transmission, publication or reproduction of the event in any manner or circumstance whatsoever, without further permission or compensation. The holder of a FestiVoix admission ticket and/or a festival-goer present on the event sites waives all claims that may arise from the capture of his/her image while he/she is on the premises where the event is taking place and from the use and/or distribution of this image for promotional or other purposes.
