Since 2017, Snotty Nose Rez Kids has established itself as a true phenomenon in the world of hip-hop music. Its uniqueness lies in its ability to combine hard-hitting lyrics, poignant narratives and protest songs with humor. In 2019, the album TRAPLINE marked a turning point for the group, with the song Boujee Natives collecting several nominations, including one at the Juno Awards. Critical success continued with their most recent album I’M GOOD HBU? receiving numerous awards and honors including a fourth Polaris Prize shortlisting, an award for “Best Music Video of the Year” at the Prism Prize Awards and three Western Canadian Music Awards. Their influence extends to the world of sports, performing at a half-time show for the Toronto Raptors and at a Vancouver Canucks game. The evening promises to be a festive one on Saturday, June 29, on the Fleuve Loto-Québec stage, just before Cypress Hill!
